Through Life Management Plan (TLMP) Section 6 – Evaluation of Success
Section 6 should be produced in line with the guidance in the table below.

| Purpose |
- Section 6 of the TLMP should define the criteria and processes for measuring and assessing the success of the project against the defined objectives, and for feeding this back into the other sections of the TLMP to ensure continuous improvement.
- It should also capture good (and bad) practice learned from experience, for sharing with other project teams through Learning From Experience (LFE) procedures.

- How we will demonstrate (internally and externally) that we have met the Mission and Objectives from Section 1 of the TLMP.
- Reference back to headline targets from Section 1.
- Reference to Acceptance criteria.
- Overview of Assurance criteria.
- Overview of performance management processes.
- The exit criteria for the current phase of the programme and the entry criteria for the next phase. How will we know we have satisfactorily completed one phase and can move to the next (eg Technology Readiness Levels)?
- Learning From Experience plan.
- Post Project Evaluation plan.
- Definition of the process for reviewing and updating the TLMP in accordance with your TLM strategy.
- The plan for continuous improvement of the TLMP and TLM processes – use of TLM Standard.
