This website is an authoritative source of policy and best practice on Through Life Capability Management aspects for all members of the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) and our Industry partners concerned with Defence Acquisition.
It is part of the Tactical Layer of the Acquisition Operating Framework and as such it is intended to improve the consistency of the MOD's application of policy and best practice and play an important role in delivering better solutions for defence in the future.
The introduction provides more information on the scope of this website.

What's new?

Version 1.1.4 is the latest release of this policy, information and guidance within the AOF.
The Urgent Operational Requirements (UOR) area has been updated to include disposals:
- Stage 2 – Identify and Agree the Solution, links added.
- Stage 6 - Review, Lessons / Hints / Tips.
- Common Authoritative UORs References and associated SMEs.
