Public Private Partnerships (PPP) / Private Finance Initiatives (PFI)

Introduction

The MOD Private Finance Unit (PFU) has overall responsibility for Public Private Partnerships (PPP) and Private Finance Initiatives (PFI) and provides a central MOD focus for policy and support.

What are the Quality requirements for PPP / PFI ?

From a quality perspective, PPP / PFI contracts should be treated the same as any other type of contract.

All PPP / PFI bids will however need careful consideration, and DQA Policy should be consulted where:

advice is required on the application of current quality related policies
a quality related policy is considered inadequate and/or inappropriate.
