Introduction

The first “Quality Matters Newsletter” was issued in June 2006, with the aim to regularly inform the Acquisition Community of the ongoing developments in Quality Assurance and Configuration Management policy.

Purpose

The purpose of the Newsletter is to promote the subjects of Quality, Quality Assurance (QA) and Configuration Management (CM). The intention is that future articles will include good practice, lessons learnt, examples of achievements, and new Quality, QA and CM techniques and methodologies.

Distribution

Primarily the newsletter will be distributed via the Defence Intranet, and by email to focal points for those areas that can not access the intranet version. New releases will be notified to MOD staff via a DE&S news item on the Defence Intranet. New issues will be release approximately every quarter.

Submit an article

The editor will be pleased to receive any articles on or related to Quality, QA or CM. Although Quality Matters is a MOD based newsletter; all articles and requests from both MOD staff and Industry personnel will be considered for publication on their merits.

To make a request or submit an article for publication please contact the editor, see Getting Help for details.
