Quality Assurance Consultative Group

Introduction

The Quality Assurance Consultative Group (QACG) has been in existence since the late 1980’s and is the senior MOD internal QA consultation forum. It enables the Defence Quality Assurance Authority (DQAA) to monitor the effectiveness of MOD QA policy and to be proactive in identifying quality related issues.

The QACG is the complementary forum to the MOD Industry Defence Industries Forum (DIQF).

Representation

QACG membership is drawn from all areas of the MOD TLB structure that have a direct involvement with procurement of products or services.

Terms of Reference

The QACG is governed by agreed Terms of Reference (TOR), is chaired by TES-DQAG-POL-HD in his role of the executive arm of the DQAA, and meets on a quarterly basis. Download TOR for:

Output

The product of the QACG is a set of coherent QA policies, principles and practices that support the assurance activities undertaken by both MOD Integrated Project Teams and their Suppliers and enable the delivery of a product that fully satisfies the requirements of the Military Sponsor.
