Human Factors Demonstration and Assessment Report

What is the purpose of the Human Factors Demonstration and Assessment Report?

The aim of the Human Factors Demonstration and Assessment ReportExternal link to Ministry of Defence Intranet content is to provide a summary of the Human Factors (HF) related activities undertaken in accordance with the Human Factors Integration plan.

What should be included?

The report should include information from project related trials and should also include the results of any secondary trials conducted to assess the changes introduced.

Where it is necessary to conduct experiments using people, all activities must comply with the guidelines published by the Ergonomics Society and the British Psychological Society. 

Where experiments involve the use of MOD personnel, these must also comply with guidelines as published in JSP 536 – Ethical conduct and scrutiny in MOD research involving human participantsExternal link to Ministry of Defence Intranet content.
