Defence Values for Acquisition - Toolkit

The Defence Values for Acquisition (DVfA) are supported by a Toolkit that is designed to help individuals and teams make use of the values in practice.

The DVfA ToolkitExternal link to Ministry of Defence Intranet content includes tools, techniques and guidance material in the following areas:

  • Understanding the Values:
    • What are the DVfA and why are they important?
    • How do they fit into the broader context of the MOD vision and values?
  • Applying the Values in practice
    • What is expected from me? With positive and negative indicators of behaviours.
    • How to use the Values in civilian Performance Assessment Reports
      • Setting objectives using the values
      • Assessing performance.

    • Frequently asked questions.
    • Sources of further information and guidance.
