It is governed by an agreed set of Terms of Reference.

Each Directorate is responsible for directing Joint User activity, relevant to their particular area of business and as allocated by the JCUMG.

The key areas of business include the:

  • Production, approval and delivery of Applied Concepts (Concepts of Employment and Concepts of Use).
  • Capability Integration activities required to deliver Joint military capability.
  • Agreement of Joint User priorities for departmental Balance of Investment.

The JCUMG acts as the custodian for all concept papers.
