Performance Management within Science Innovation Technology (SIT)

Science Innovation Technology uses a Performance Assessment Framework (PAF)External link to Ministry of Defence Intranet content as the tool for performance management.

The PAF aims to:

  • Provide a common framework and language across the Research Programme for assessing proposals.
  • Assess proposals for new research, on-going work and to measure success on completion.
  • Provide a continuous improvement environment to optimise pull through of innovative and relevant research to produce battle winning technology.
  • Provide evidence in support of the benefit, risk and cost of the Research Programme to the Defence Stakeholder Community.
