Performance Management within Science Innovation Technology (SIT)

Science Innovation Technology uses a Performance Assessment Framework (PAF) External link to Ministry of Defence Intranet content as the tool for performance management.

The PAF aims to:

Provide a common framework and language across the Research Programme for assessing proposals.
Assess proposals for new research, on-going work and to measure success on completion.
Provide a continuous improvement environment to optimise pull through of innovative and relevant research to produce battle winning technology.
Provide evidence in support of the benefit, risk and cost of the Research Programme to the Defence Stakeholder Community.

Change History

The AOF has been updated to Version 2.0.0 on 1st April 2008 following the introduction of the main content in the tactical layer. In addition small changes have been added to the Operational layer.
